Aeone (a software startup) seeks to hire a Head of Influencer Sales, Events, and Marketing - Nigeria, with a track record of exceptional, transformative sales, influencer partnerships, event planning, marketing and management practices—to lead our Nigeria sales and marketing initiatives. As one of the founding team members; this role will give you an opportunity and exposure to help build Aeone’s presence in Nigeria, lead, own and drive communication for Aeone’s innovations in the creator economy and SaaS space from the ground up.
Aeone is an early stage startup based in Seattle, USA, and we are opening our presence in Ghana. Aeone’s vision is to bring the world closer together and create genuine value for society, by building an ecosystem that empowers creatives and builders—to build safer spaces online, build strong communities, enhance their livelihoods, and to solve the world's biggest problems. Aeone has two products: Creatr (a SaaS product in the Creator Economy) and Veucast (a social media platform), with more in the pipelines. Our products are available on iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop. We have ambitious goals to scale growth and adoption of our services around the world and delight our customers with a great product.
The long-term vision of the Aeone Sales and Marketing team is to drive global brand excellence and product sales, through excellent customer service, strategic partnerships, strategic marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
Key Job Responsibilities
As the Head of Influencer Sales, Events, and Marketing, you will develop, implement, track and optimize the company's marketing and sales strategy, inspire and motivate junior employees, and optimize the company's market share. More specifically, you will start focusing on Aeone and Creatr product. You will be working with our great product and design teams to effectively communicate the products and services we offer across print and digital platforms. You will listen and capture key insights that you will share with other teams throughout Aeone to help design and architect solutions that will scale to hundreds of millions of customers. You will be a role model and mentor for other marketers or sales reps on the team. You will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up environment where agile development is embraced, and innovation is encouraged.

You love working with smart, talented team members because you know that makes you better. Your tasks, duties, and responsibilities include:
Oversee sales of company’s products and services; oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting.
Understand company objectives, reduce costs, and conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify potential partners, set pricing, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts.
Recruit, train, lead, empower, motivate and inspire the sales and marketing team in your territory.
Organize marketing or sales events for creators, talent managers, and brands to drive sales and brand awareness
Creatively contact potential clients, inform them of company products and services, and solicit new business
Helping onboarding the following users to the Creatr Platform: Content Creators, User Generated Content Creators, talent agencies, Influencers, Celebrities, newspapers, etc.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Aeone’s services.
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory to meet or exceed quarterly revenue and KPI targets.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts/users.
Be creative to drive platform adoption through new innovation initiatives.
Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy.
Create and implement sales programs and tools that increase performance within your territory.
Organize tutorials or demos with target users to drive adoption.
Work with the Head Office Team to curate content for digital platforms.
Oversee the sales funnel pipeline programs such as Referrals, Affiliates, Funding Partners, Aeone for Startups in your territory.
Maintain and grow the company’s sales pipeline, forecast sales out, time sales to close, and forecast revenue.
Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
Stay up-to-date on current market trends
Maintain client database, maintain and expand customer feedback database, and advise management on corporate sales and marketing strategy
Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
Develop and execute marketing and sales plans and strategies, including creating and updating marketing and sales plans, setting marketing budgets, monitoring performance, and developing and designing marketing materials for digital and print media.

Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
Have previously managed influencers, hired influencers, or worked with influencers
3+ years' sales or marketing experience in influencer marketing, management, in a corporate setting or as a content creator
Great listener, with a strong willingness to learn
Inspires and empowers others
Aware of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Persuasive and able to procure buy-in from upper management
Solid computer skills and awareness of various marketing forms, including: print, web, social media, influencer marketing, tv, radio, etc.
Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
Preferred Qualifications
Highly social, extrovert, and well-known in the Lagos/Nigerian community
5+ years experience as an influencer marketing manager, content creator, influencer talent manager, or Celebrity Talent Manager.
Experience managing or working with celebrities or content creators/influencers.
Strong Data Analytics skills.
Experience with event planning.

What’s in it for you?
NGN 75,000 to NGN 197,500 per month base salary + 10% commission on all sales coming out of Nigeria (USD). On-target Earnings (OTE) for this role is NGN 16,688,493 to 18,158,949 per year.
