Overview

Aeone is a Seattle-based Software Company, founded by an ex-Amazon Senior Product Manager, Twama Nambili. Aeone seeks a highly motivated 3 Sales and Marketing Interns for Spring 2024 to work on its Creatr  product. Creatr, a SaaS product, is on the mission to build the world's largest influencer database and influencer marketing management platform that helps content creators and talent agencies better manage their creator business as well as connect with brands for influencer marketing campaign partnerships.

 

Since launching in 2023, Aeone only hired interns only once in Fall 2023, and here is where are today:

In this role, you will have the option to select one of the two Internship Tracks:

  1. Social Media Management 

  2. User Adoption


Until otherwise communicated, this role will report to the CEO, and with their guidance; you will set your internship goals for the track you select so that you can practice setting goals and working towards your goals that reflect a real-world corporate career.

Key Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the option to select one of the two Internship Tracks:

This role will report to the CEO, and their guidance, you will set your internship goals for the track you select so that you can practice setting goals and working towards your goals that reflect a real-world corporate career.

 

Track 1: Social Media Management 

  • Design, Create, and oversee social media accounts content (e.g. LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram)

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI

  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency

  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

 

Track 2: User Adoption 

You will build relationships with Creators and Talent Agencies,  identifying key marketing and sales strategies, and onboarding users to the platform. This role will be responsible for:

  • Helping onboarding the following users to the Creatr Platform: Content Creators, User Generated Content Creators, talent agencies, Influencers, Celebrities, newspapers, etc.

  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Aeone Creatr services.

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory to meet or exceed quarterly revenue and KPI targets.

  • Develop  accounts concurrently & strategically. Be creative to drive platform adoption through new innovation initiatives.

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts/users.

  • Analyse sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy.

  • Create and implement sales programs and tools that increase performance within your territory.

  • Organize tutorials or demos with target users to drive adoption.

 

 

Please note the following eligibility requirements to apply for this role (Bachelor's and Master's students):

  •  Be graduating from Bachelor's or Master's degree program between 12/2025 and 6/2027 OR be a recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's program between 03/2024 and 09/2024 

  • Ability to complete a 3-month internship

  • If you are an international student, you must be eligible for CPT or OPT.

  • Be physically located in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta

Basic Qualifications

  • Familiar with marketing, sales, or social media marketing and content creation.

  • Ability to generate leads on your own and come up with creative marketing techniques

  • Interest in Software products (SaaS)

  • Able to commit 10-15 hours/week throughout the course of a 3-month internship

  • Currently  enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program between 12/2025 and 6/2027.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record

  • Are a content creator or have strong connections to content creators/influencers

  • Studying business, marketing, advertising, communications, psychology, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, advertising, communications, business administration, or related fields

  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results

  • Demonstrated track record (in class projects or internship) in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions

  • Ability to influence others

  • Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Video creation and editing skills a plus for the Social Media Manager track.
